Ordinary MDF Boards

  • Medium Density Fiberboards (MDF) is manufactured by breaking down hardwood or softwood residuals into wood fibres by a defibrator refining process, combining it with resin and wax, and forming it into a different sizes panels by applying high temperature and pressure. MDF compared to Plywood and Particle Board is more dense. Can be used as a building material similar in application to plywood. It is stronger than particle board. MDF provides a better and smoother surface finish than particle board . Sheet goods and finished parts are used in the manufacturing of fixture, display, slatwall, cabinet and furniture components.
